When using the oil seal device, you need to choose the appropriate oil seal device according to various purposes and combine lubrication methods.
1. Non -contact oil seal device
As an oil seal device that does not contact the axis, and there is no frictional part of the oil sealing device, there are structures such as oil grooves, oil -shaking rings and maze oil seals, and use the centrifugal force and small gap to seal.
(1) oil groove
The structure of the oil groove is a structure that uses the small gap between the shaft and the shell cover and the several grooves set on the small gap to play a sealing role. In addition to the low speed, it is not effective to prevent the leakage of the lubricant alone. Therefore, it is more used than the oil -shaking ring and the maze oil seal. In addition, it has a certain dustproof effect in the lubricant of about 200 in the oil tank.
The smaller the clearance of the shaft and the shell, the better the effect.

(2) Follow the oil ring

(3) Maze oil seal
The maze oil seal is a bump combination with a small gap between the shaft and the shell, which is particularly suitable for preventing the leakage of oil from high -speed shafts.

2. Contact oil seal device
The contact -type oil seal device is the contact with axis friction with the tip of the synthetic rubber, synthetic resin, and felt.
(1) Oil dense sealing circle
There are many oil sealing circles in places where foreign bodies such as dust and moisture are easily invaded from the outside, or to prevent leakage in the shell. Many structures and sizes in the oil sealing ring have been standardized (refer to JISB2402). In order to maintain proper pressure, multiple sets of springs are installed. The material of the sealing lip uses the synthetic rubber, acryl, silicon, fluorine, etc., and tetrafluorosterolytic ethylene resin. The circular speed is large. In the case of high internal pressure, the sliding part of the shaft is required to be well processed, and the eccentricity of the shaft is also less than 0.2 ~ 0.5mm. In order to improve the abrasion resistance, the hardness of the shaft sliding area needs to use heat treatment or hard chrome plating to make the hardness reach HRC40, which is more ideal if it can reach HRC55 above.

(2) Find sealing ring
The felt sealing ring has been used for the transmission shaft a long time ago, but it is difficult to avoid oil leakage and soaking. Therefore, it is only used for the purpose of lubricating dust, and it is not suitable for a large circular speed of the shaft.
